NIOS offer various School-based vocational education courses in India whose period vary from months to years depend on for which vocational programme you are looking for. National Open School offer more than 83 Diploma and certificate courses for the candidates have minimum 21 Years of age. Through Vocational Education and Training (VET) programme, skilled and middle-level manpower student contributes to increase the economy sector of India. NIOS offer three levels of vocational certificates-
- i) Certificate in Open Schooling (COS)
- ii) Advance Certificate in Open Schooling (ACOS)
iii) Diploma in Open Schooling (DOS)
